Justo Development Courses
Our nurses and practitioner courses are all available to study online from anywhere in the world. Aside from our Advanced Diploma in Equine Rehabilitation, which opens at intervals, our courses can be started at any time and studied at your own pace.
For equine therapists:
The Diploma is advanced training for qualified equine therapists who want to develop their knowledge and skills in Equine Rehabilitation and add ‘Equine Rehabilitation Therapist’ to their current professional title. Designed to be studied over one year, but flexible for up to four years, this advanced CPD teaches the science behind exercise prescription and the practical application.
For those who are not ready to jump into the full Diploma or those who want to get an overview of the principles and practice of equine rehabilitation through exercise, we offer a 6 hour bitesized CPD which explores each area of the subject and considers the current research behind equine rehabilitation. The cost of this course can be redeemed in full against the Diploma so can be a useful taster, with nothing to lose.
For Veterinary Nurses:
For Veterinary Nurses we currently have three courses which are the Bitesized CPD ‘Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for Veterinary Nurses’, the Advanced Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation and the Foundation in Canine Exercise Rehabilitation.
The bitesized CPD is a popular course for nurses who wish to advance their knowledge into physiotherapy and rehabilitation and provides 6 hours of CPD. This course considers various techniques and theories and how these can be used in practice to improve patient care and recovery post surgery.
The Diploma is advanced training for qualified veterinary nurses who want to develop their knowledge and skills in Canine Rehabilitation and add ‘Canine Rehabilitation Therapist’ to their current professional VN title. Designed to be studied over one year, but flexible for up to four years, this advanced CPD teaches the science behind exercise prescription and the practical application.
The Foundation in Canine Exercise Rehabilitation provides the basics for nurses to get started with exercise rehabilitation in practice. This course is also the first module in the Advanced Diploma so on completion, it is an option to study the other three modules to complete the Diploma if desired.
